Supporting the cost of living

When local businesses make more money and local people earn more income, the whole community benefits. That's the idea behind Round: not a startup chasing growth metrics, but a service rooted in Waiuku that keeps money in Waiuku.

A town worth showing up for

Waiuku is a tight-knit community with good businesses, good people, and plenty of opportunity. Round exists to be part of building something here: a local platform that connects people, supports businesses, and creates real income for locals who want flexible work.

Local businesses were losing out

Most delivery platforms take 30% commission. That means restaurants either absorb the loss or mark up their menus, losing customers in the process. In a climate where businesses are already closing their doors, that felt wrong. Round charges 15% or less, around half that.

Real jobs for real people

The drivers behind Round are locals: people already working, raising kids, locked out of industries that require degrees they can't afford. Delivery is open to anyone, from any background. Round gives them a flexible way to earn more without starting from scratch.
